Malaysia has a similar season to Thailand, with January as the peak month for steady wind. It’s a light-wind region with a lot of 12 knots days and a few 20+ knots days, so big kites or foil boards are to recommend. There’s also lots of swell available so it’s a good shout for wave surfers.
